Sir Jim Ratcliffe has increased his stake in Manchester United

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has further increased his stake in Manchester United.

This transaction was ratified in February; on Wednesday, the Securities and Exchange Commission verified that Ratcliffe had made the final payment of £79.3m.

This allows Ratcliffe to acquire additional shares, increasing his shareholding to 28.94 per cent from 27.70 per cent.
